Kira Troilo

Kira Troilo is the Founder of Texture Ready™, The Textured Hair Standard for Stage & Screen, and creator of the Texture Ready™ Standard Credential.

Her work is featured in American Theatre Magazine (May 2026) and The Boston Globe, and listed on Actors' Equity Association's employer resources page. She presents at Lincoln Center in October 2026.

Her theater background spans 20+ years as an actor, choreographer, director, and board member. She built Texture Ready™ because the productions she worked on kept discovering the same gap on the same week of the build calendar, and nobody had a system for it.
